Hi Reader Friends,
My website support person tweaked my website so I’m not sure if this post went to my subscribers. I apologize if you received this post twice, but I didn’t want my subscribers to miss the chance to win a copy of Kelly Anne Liberto’s new book, Stealth.
First, to announce the winner of today’s drawing. I asked readers to share the name or names of their favorite books read last year. Jan shared that she enjoyed Chas Williamson’s book, and guess what? The author is her neighbor. I’ve not read his books, but I checked them out on Amazon. It states that the Paradise Series is a clean and wholesome romance series. From his author profile, I learned the series is loosely based around a tea room in Paradise, Pennsylvania, located deep within the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country.
Other books mentioned by readers as favorites include:
- Ashley Clark’s Heirloom Secrets series
- Breaking Free by Lauraine Snelling
- The Edge of Belonging by Amanda Cox
- The Secret Keepers of Old Depot Grocery by Amanda Cox,
- Night Bird Calling by Cathy Gohlke
- One Hundred Crickets Singing by Cathy Gohlke
- Count the Nights by Stars by Michelle Shocklee
- The Keeper of Happy Endings by Barbara Davis
- A Tapestry of Light by Kimberly Duffy
- Every Window Filled with Light by Shelia Stovall
Thank you to everyone who commented. I added several to my TBR list.
Congratulations to my critique partner, Kelly Anne Liberto. Her new book, Stealth, was released this week. To celebrate, I’m giving away one free copy. To be eligible for the drawing, tell us about a favorite Romantic Suspense book you’ve read in the comments below. I’ll announce the winner next Saturday, December 21, 2023.
Kelly blessed me with an advanced reader’s copy of Stealth and I loved it. Warning! It’s suspenseful, but it has a very satisfying and uplifting ending. Kelly deals with difficult topics with sensitivity. It’s romantic suspense at its best. If you love authors like Patricia Bradley or Lynette Eason, I think you will want to read Kelly’s book.
From the Amazon Site:
A painful past filled with secrets. A girl entrenched in a prostitution ring who desperately wants out. Why did life have to carry such heartache? Macy Freeman didn’t want to have to deal with her past, but when she stumbles on the body of a young girl, the past begins to unravel. Macy and P.I Mike Gould work to find evidence and expose the corruption. Little do they know that their pursuit for justice will lead to unimaginable evil in their hometown. When the killer stalks her, who will protect her daughter Bella?
Can she expose the darkness and break the chains that held them for so many years? In her quest, the young mother finds mercy trumps darkness every time
A gripping, fast-paced story about sex trafficking that will tug at your heartstrings.
Again, for a chance to win a free copy of Stealth, tell us about a favorite Romantic Suspense book you’ve enjoyed. I’ll announce the winner next Saturday, January 21, 2023.

I just finished an ARC of Detecting Secrets by Sami A. Abrams and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved it. Stealth sounds like another edge of your seat read.
Hi Ann,
Sami and I attended a writer’s conference together several years ago at Brandilyn Collin’s home. I think it was called Fantastic Fiction Retreat.
I am so happy about Sami’s recent success.
Thanks for sharing her name with other readers. Good luck in the drawing.
Warm regards,
Shelia
I read Lynette Eason’s third book in her Extreme Measures series, Critical Threat. Wow. It was a really suspenseful book that kept you guessing until the very end. I kept trying to put the clues together, but i never guessed the perpetrator until they were revealed. I have read each of the other books in the series and absolutely love the stories of these women who became friends in juvie.
