Elk Lake Publishing will release Every Life Filled with Purpose early this spring, and I just realized I need to provide my publisher the names of my launch team members within the next few days if they are to be included in the acknowledgments. Perhaps, you’ll be interested in applying.
A launch team is a group of fans who come together to build excitement about an author’s book. I’m looking for candidates who have already made the decision to buy the next Weldon novel because they are fans.
I became a writer because I believe fiction novels are the best evangelical tool available to us, and writing is a ministry to me. Still, I strive to ensure the story is never preachy but entertaining, fun, and interesting. ECPA award-winning and bestselling author Tama Fortner said, “Shelia Stovall’s latest literary trip to the small town of Weldon is a gem that so beautifully fulfills the purpose of Christian fiction—that is, to show how people of faith live and love through the ups and down of life, shining a light of hope for others to follow. Wonderfully true-to-life characters, with just the right touch of humor and whimsy to make you smile. Fabulous!
If you want to be a part of my writing ministry, get a peek behind the scenes of a book launch, and meet other Weldon fans via Zoom, fill out the Google Form below. I only have room for twenty candidates, spread across the U.S. https://forms.gle/tiDHRTSH5mZqs4D96

Welcome to Weldon, Kentucky, where no one can keep a secret forever.
Imagine discovering a place where the locals treat you with warmth and welcome you like family. Carson Williams finds such a place when he visits his deceased mother’s hometown of Weldon. The atmosphere and genuinely kind people create a deep yearning in Carson. He impulsively buys a farm in the nearby hamlet of Sassy Creek, hoping the quiet life will help him heal from PTSD. Carson, a former professional gambler, vows never to return to Reno, NV.
When Virginia Willoughby collapses in front of Carson at the local diner, Carson meets her daughter, Emma Baker. Emma wonders why she can’t stop thinking about the mysterious stranger when her heart belongs to pastor Luke Davis, and Carson questions the magnetic pull of Emma’s gaze. Carson learns a startling secret that shakes his sense of belonging. As he wrestles with the implications, his journey is one of inner turmoil as he seeks to discover where he truly belongs and God’s purpose for his life.
