Hi Friends,
Exciting news! I have a new book out. I was honored to be included in a wonderful Christian romance anthology, Where Love Blooms, with these best-selling writers: Travis Inman, Cheryl Johnson, Lane Jordan, Sally Jo Pitts, Linda Wood Rondeau, Cynthia L. Simmons, and PeggySue Wells! My contribution, Welcome Home to Redbird Falls, features a sweet romance between Jen Bennett and Chase Wilkins. Jen left Kentucky to become one of the top pastry chefs in New York City. When an accident shatters Jen’s wrist and her career, she returns to Redbird Falls to recuperate at Aunt Queenie’s farm. Jen is surprised when Chase, Aunt Queenie’s neighbor, greets her at the airport. It’s frustrating to Jen that after all these years, she’s still attracted to him. Memories of Chase ignoring her as a teen make her cheeks flush. He’s the only man who’s ever made her pulse race.
Chase Wilkins is drawn to Jen, but he’s determined to ignore the attraction. She was gorgeous, and out of his league. Even if she wasn’t, his life was on the farm. Plus, when Jen learned what Miss Queenie had asked of him, she’d see him as the enemy.
Redbird Falls is Jen’s favorite place in the world. If only she could figure out how to make a living in the small community where it seems everyone, except Chase, greets her with a hug. If only, she could stop thinking about him.

When the Meadow Blooms by Ann H. Gabhart — If any place on God’s earth was designed to help one heal, it is Meadowland. Surely here, at her brother-in-law’s Kentucky farm, Rose and her daughters can recover from the events of the recent past—the loss of her husband during the 1918 influenza epidemic, her struggle with tuberculosis that required a stay at a sanatorium, and her girls’ experience in an orphanage during her illness. At Meadowland, past troubles become rich soil in which faith can grow. Dirk Meadows may have opened his home to his late brother’s widow and her girls, but he keeps his heart tightly closed. The roots of his pain run deep, and the evidence of it is written across his face. Badly scarred by a fire and abandoned by the woman he loved, Dirk fiercely guards his heart from being hurt again. But it may be that his visitors will bring light back into his world and unlock the secret to true healing. (Historical Romance from Revell – A Division of Baker Publishing Group)
